Because of Eurobot Association problems regarding (non)organising the international finales, we have decided in cooperation with RobotInt people to launch a new competition “Roadside Assistance”. It targets advanced robots; those familiar with Eurobot will see a clear analogy.
We offer this competition to all who were interested in Eurobot. The robots will be at similar technical level and for this year, we have prepared the rules so that switching is easy – the robots will have the same dimensions, the playing field and playing elements too etc. The topic and details will be of course different, but they are designed so that no big hardware changes are needed. In fact, we believe no changes in HW are needed and the robots may need only software adaptation.
